Texas Counties: U.S. Military Veteran Population, 2020

Veterans are men and women who have formerly served, and are not currently serving, on active duty in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, or the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II. It includes National Guard members and reservists who were called to active duty. The U.S. Census only counts veterans who are at least 18 years old.

The data is based on "a deterministic projection model," not an actual count.
